Hello from Mike: reader, calibre user, solo app developer
Hi everyone,
I'm Mike, a voracious reader and a lifelong PC and Android guy. My books live in calibre, and I read on a Samsung Tab Ultra, a Pixel 7 and, as of this week, an iPhone Duo. I'm also a solo developer. I wanted my whole calibre library offline on my devices, especially for reading on airplanes, with facing pages like a real book, and nothing I tried did it the way I wanted. So I built my own reader. It's called CalibReader; it launches on iPhone and iPad this week, with Android to follow, and its small calibre plugin is waiting for approval in the Plugins forum. Glad to be here, and happy to help with anything about calibre on phones and tablets. Mike |
