The Opioid at the Smoke Shop by David Goldstone — investigative nonfiction
Hello MobileRead readers,
I’m David Goldstone, author of The Opioid at the Smoke Shop: Kratom, 7-OH, the Withdrawal Crisis, and the Next Generation of Retail Drugs. The book examines the history of kratom, the rise of concentrated 7-OH products, withdrawal, and the obstacles people face when seeking treatment. It also follows the newer compounds entering the retail drug market and the questions surrounding how these products are sold. I wrote it in plain language for readers interested in public health, consumer protection, and drug policy. This is investigative nonfiction, not a medical treatment guide. The Kindle edition is available on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0HNCDRMYZ Thank you for taking a look. |
