Creating Bookmarks in RTF or DOC files?
Hi everyone,
I am trying to upload Word files into a Sony ereader, and would like to be able to import them with bookmarks or chapter markers that could then be jumped to when reading on the device. From searching some posts here, it sounds like the only way to do that might be to convert the files from Word to HTML and then use a program that converts HTML to the ebook format. Does anyone know of another method? Thank you! |

Yes.
You create your Word file with “chapters”, using styles (heading 1, heading 2, etc…) and then create a PDF file with auto generation of bookmarks from the heading styles of word. Best regards, Last edited by DDHarriman; 02-01-2009 at 09:04 AM. |
