Kobo Libra 2 – High battery drain during sleep
Hi everyone,
My Kobo Libra 2 originally had a Rev F motherboard, which failed. I replaced it with a Rev A motherboard, keeping the original display and updating its VCOM value. Everything works fine except for unusually high battery drain during sleep. I measured the current using a multimeter: - Power OFF: ~0 mA - Reading: 40 mA - Sleep: 130 mA Strangely, sleep mode consumes over 3 times more power than reading! I've already tried a hard factory reset, replacing the SD card, flashing a fresh system image, disabling Wi-Fi, and turning off the sleep cover wake-up feature, but nothing has fixed the issue. Has anyone experienced this? Could it be a compatibility issue between the motherboard and display, or is the device failing to enter proper suspend mode? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |
