Book on reader diff than Calibre
Hello -
First post. I've tried searching, but feel i'm not using the right terms to get an answer. I have Calibre on my Macbook Air that I use with a Kindle reader. I have several plugins including FanFicFare. I've been downloading epubs on this reader via Calibre for several years and generally don't have issues. I recently got into some FanFic or LitRPGs that have new chapters several times per week. I have been reading away on my reader and then i get to the last updated chapter (230 in this case). I opened calibre, selected the book and then clicked on "update existing FanFiction books" from FanFicFare. The book gets updated - I open in it Calibre and it shows that it now has 239 chapters. I then have it send the updated epub to the device - it processes with no errors. When i disconnect and view my book on the reader, it still shows the book having 230 chapters. I have tried deleting the book on my reader and re-sending to device (no change); i've tried deleting from both Calibre library and reader and re-installing - no change. Every time I open the book up on the reader it shows "230 chapters". Thank you and I appreciate any assistance. -J |
