Calibre MCP-server

Having the possibility to query your local Calibre ebook library from within Claude or Codex is a really nice and useful feature.

I therefore wrote an efficient stdin/http MCP server that's easily configurable on your computer or Calibre server. It's a matter of minutes. It offers more functionalities than any other server I have found around. Once it's installed and has indexed your books, Calibre doesn't even need to run.

Thanks to a mini local LLM (200Mb), it can also easily answer questions such as "which Calibre books better than others cover the topic of prompt injection and eventually also discuss new evolutions of classic software engineering?" to your library of ebooks.

Inside, it hosts a miniLLM (200Mb) which allows querying in any language, whichever one is used for the book.

Figures are also extracted and reported in the hosting LLM
