[Project] NodeLane Comics — A browser-based comic reader with optional translation

Hi everyone, I'm the developer of NodeLane Comics, an open-source comic reader for desktop Chrome, Edge and Firefox. I'd like to share it with readers who keep comics in different files and want a simple way to read them and keep track of their progress.

The main focus is reading and keeping your comic library together:

- Import CBZ/ZIP, CBR/RAR, PDF and DRM-free MOBI comics.
- Bring comics from Google Drive or supported websites into the reader.
- Browse and search your bookshelf, and resume from your saved reading position.
- Choose continuous scrolling or single-page reading, adjust reading direction and zoom, and use light or dark themes.

Reading local originals does not require an account. This is a desktop browser extension, rather than a dedicated e-ink device app.

Translation is optional. If you need it, you can translate while reading and compare original and translated pages without losing your place. The official cloud service requires sign-in and has usage limits; you can also connect a locally hosted manga-translator-ui service.
