Hi, I have jb my ppw6 by Vera. I am confuse that do I have to install or do sth which prevent auto update fw?
My Kindle is airplane mode now, and I installed Koreader.

No, Vera auto blocks OTA updates. You can turn off airplane mode. Have fun!

What were you following to do it? In the official guide on Step 11 it says:
