Hi everyone,

Some of you may remember me from the E-Ink.me thread. I've since built a sister project closer to this forum's daily bread and butter: iLoveEPUB.com, a free EPUB toolbox that runs entirely in your browser.

The pitch is simple: your files never leave your device. There is no upload step, no account, no credits, no watermark — the page loads a JS/WASM engine and parsing, conversion and export all happen locally. You can watch your network tab stay quiet while you work.

Current toolset (17 tools, all free):

Convert

• EPUB → PDF — paginated output for printing or sharing
• PDF → EPUB — text-based PDFs only. Scanned/image-only PDFs are detected up front and politely refused, rather than producing 200 pages of garbage (no OCR — I'd rather be honest than hand you a broken book)
• EPUB → KEPub — Kobo's enhanced format (reading stats, per-chapter features) without opening Calibre
• EPUB → TXT / Markdown — clean text extraction, headings and lists preserved

Organize

• Compress — re-encodes bloated images, strips junk, keeps the book valid
• Merge — several EPUBs into one, with a unified TOC
• Split — one book into several valid EPUBs by chapter

Read & edit

• EPUB Reader and word count, right in the browser
• EPUB Editor — edit text, CSS, metadata and covers in place
• Quick fixes: repair broken EPUBs, fix a broken TOC, swap fonts, strip images, change cover, edit metadata

Works in any modern desktop or mobile browser; UI available in 16 languages.

Feedback I'd genuinely love from this community:

• KEPub output on real Kobos — reading stats, chapter skips, pictures
• EPUB → PDF pagination quality (page size, fonts, chapter breaks)
• PDF → EPUB on real-world text PDFs — where does the reading order break?
• Compress: how small do your books get, any glitches?
