How to Download Firmware from Boox

I'm stuck downloading the Boox Firmware upx files. How do I create a download link?

it looks like I can get informations like finger etc with simple adb commands.

adb shell getprop ro.product.model
adb shell getprop ro.product.device
adb shell getprop ro.build.fingerprint
adb shell getprop ro.build.display.id
adb shell getprop ro.build.version.incremental

I found this for the Go 7 Color:

The same way you did. I'm not sure where the problem was.

already super happy. I downloaded the firmware with your upx link. I rooted my device and deleted all google packages. But just in case something goes wrong one day, I'd be happy to set it back to stock firmware.

Still wierd, I still don't get my link working. Do you have a sample link, that I may try with my details?

Hi Renate,

I came across your posts about downloading and recovering BOOX firmware, and I was wondering if you could help me.


The bootloader is unlocked, and I can access Fastboot, FastbootD, and Android Recovery, including ADB sideload mode.

The currently installed firmware is:

- **Model:** TabXC
- **Firmware:** 4.2_rel05122
- **Build:** 2026-05-14_16-57_4.2-rel_05122_69c3888a3

Would you happen to have a direct download link for the official Tab X C firmware (`update.upx`), either the current version or an older one, such as 4.2_rel04172?

I would also appreciate any guidance on whether an official firmware package can be installed through ADB sideload from RecoveryThank you very much for your time and any help you can offer!

We don't seem to have the keys for the TabXC.
