Morning Paper: a daily news PDF for Kindle/reMarkable, story text inside, free now

Hi all. I built an hourly newspaper for a small Xteink e-ink reader on my desk, and then a multi-page PDF edition for Kindle and reMarkable because that is what people kept asking for.

How it works: every hour the pipeline pulls about 120 items from ~100 RSS feeds (AI, world, US, markets, sports), merges the same story across outlets, and a small LLM acts as editor: picks a lead, ranks the rest, and writes a why-it-matters line plus a few sentences of detail per story. The story text is in the PDF, not links out, so it reads fine offline. The source outlet is named on every story.

Kindle: add paper@wholemind.tech to your Approved Personal Document list and the day's paper lands in your library each morning at 7 ET through Send to Kindle. reMarkable: a one-time device code, and it shows up in a Morning Paper folder.

Today's AI edition as a sample PDF: https://briefing-service.wholemind.w...s/ai/paper.pdf
Signup: https://briefing-service.wholemind.workers.dev/paper

Free for the first 10 subscribers while I get delivery solid. After that it is $9/month; the front pages and the JSON stay free. Not affiliated with Amazon or reMarkable.

One question: is a general daily edition what you would actually read, or would you rather choose your own feeds?

Personally I'd prefer my own feeds, in a ePub type format. PDF is usually heavier

Fair on both. Own feeds: that exists today for Reader-key subscribers, paste up to 12 feed URLs and a one-line persona and the editor ranks those instead. ePub: the paper is typeset as pages, so no ePub yet; the reflowable route today is the calibre recipe that was merged upstream this weekend, which builds the same briefing as an ePub/AZW3 through Fetch News. A native ePub for Send to Kindle is a fair ask and I'll look at it.
