Libby Plugin(s)

There are now multiple plugins with support for libby. They all use kind of the same workflow where you can browse your libby library, rent books, redeem them via de-acsm / libgourou and then read them via koreader. They all seem to also support early returns.

The maintainers have all used LLMs and to be fair, I doubt that anyone would have tackled this without the use of Claude or any other tool. I think the maintainer of Libby Dashboard is the only one who is explicitly stating that fact.

Right now I prefer Libby Dashboard, just because it looks a bit nicer but they all do what they promise.

Acsm plugin is NOT a Libby plugin though.

Have you tried libbee as well?

The plugins also provide the Libby workflow, de-acsm is just part of it.

I had libbee installed but not for long. I didn’t want 2 plugins doing essentially the same thing.

I did not try the acsm-plugin itself, but to my understanding the other plugins are based on it.
