Epub to AZW auto converter on device and very basic SMB server support

Hi... i made a kindle app in go that opens a web UI that accepts various book formats (DRM free) and install them directly in the kindle storage, with automatic EPUB to AZW conversion.

It also exposes a SMB server for filebrowsing and transfer comfort

Its mostly LLM coded and in early stage (very hacky, especially the SMB part is kinda GPT Sol hammered on until works, so be careful). i find it very useful and maybe the community can make something of it.

You'd best to convert to KF8 instead of Mobi. AZW as you are describing is Mobi. The only time AZW was not Mobi was back when we used to be able to download KF8 or Mobi from Amazon and it would come in with an extension or .azw regardless if it was KF8 or Mobi.

Hey, thanks, first kindle so i'm not really on par with the knowledge about various file format options. ill try to switch to kf8 when i can work on a next release

Seems that the library that i use is writing AZW3/KF8 in fact...ill' go and educate myself on the various file formats

If you are converting to KF8, then edit all of your descriptions to say KF8 instead of AZW. Otherwise, people will think it's Mobi and won’t want to use your converter.
