Changing serialization type for composite column?
I am trying to replace my old precalculated #pages column with the new automatically-calculated pages column. My main use for this is writing to OPF to populate progress bars in my reader software (Project Title for KOReader). However, the composite column seems to JSONify the values as a string, with surrounding quotes, even if the template is just a straightforward {pages} (and the source column is, of course, an integer column). Is there a template function or other option I can set to serialize this as an integer? Thanks.

All composite column values in calibre are strings, the entire template machinery works with strings.
