This sequel to "The Blue Lagoon" explores primal youth and purity living close to untouched nature. The story follows the orphaned child of Dick and Emmeline, raised on a remote Pacific island by his grandfather and a roguish sailor. When a young woman from a neighboring island arrives after a storm, the boy grows into manhood alongside her and experiences his own awakening of love. But cultural taboos and mounting tensions with her hostile tribe threaten their isolated paradise, leading toward an inevitable and dangerous confrontation.

Henry de Vere Stacpoole (9 April 1863 – 12 April 1951) was an Irish author who began publishing in 1894, sometimes using the pseudonym Tyler de Saix. After the success of his 1908 romance novel The Blue Lagoon, Stacpoole’s fame and recognition skyrocketed. Throughout his extensive career, he authored more than sixty books, predominantly in the fiction genre, exploring diverse settings, encompassing ancient Athens, Iceland, the Greek islands, France, and Oceania, among others.
