Conversion status
In the latest versions of software there is no clear indication of how many books are left to convert. There is number of jobs indicator which goes to 0 very quickly and there is random progress indicator, such as converting 2 of 10, then 5 of 10, then 3 of 10. Is it possible at least keep progress indicator in sequence?

Not a 100% sure, but the Preferences->Miscellaneous->Max. simultaneous conversion/news download/plugin jobs: setting maybe what you're looking for.
