Updating portable version
I am currently on version 6.14.1 Portable, and am considering updating to the latest. My question is: will my various settings, include custom news recipes and various other things, be preserved or overwritten by the update? I'll make a backup just in case, but it would be good to know before I start what issues I might run into.

If you point the portable installer at a folder containing an existing portable install you should get this:
If you select 'Yes" then settings, recipes, plugins, customisations and libraries are preserved. BR |

Thanks! I tend to postpone updates because I'm afraid something will break.
