Totally Lost newbie seeking help with dead link

Hi all,

Trying to complete a jailbreak on a Kindle 2nd gen, and am stuck with a dead link on the "download correct version of KUAL page" on the walkthrough I am using.

According to the page, I need the "KUAL-KDK-1.0.azw1.0.2.azw2 file which is available. However, the next step is to install that in the documents folder and follow the link with instructions. That instruction page is 404.

I am able to follow the next step and install the MRPI folders on the root of the device, however after that I am not able copy KUAL files as, they are in the PEKI zip which was the unused alternative to the KUAL-KDK file from above., as the unit is pre-K5.

Can someone let me know what I should do next? I am stumped as the instructions seemed to stall out.
