grey scale made bij Sigil
making text with Sigil to build an ePub i like to name the head of every chapter in grey.
I tried to use " color: #999;" of 666 or ccc, but in my Kobo with e-Ink only 999 apears. Are there any greyscales to use in Sigil, wich perform a smooth grey text? |

new registration and a question about grey scales
it was 18 years ago when i first registered myself as Hapipiko here with my iLiad, but i lost my emailadres at hotmail and gmail, so this is a new registration.
I like to build ePub books, with Sigil. but it shows nog all the grey I want. Making text with Sigil to build an ePub i like to name the head of every chapter in grey. I tried to use " color: #999;" of 666 or ccc, but in my Kobo with e-Ink only 999 apears. Are there any greyscales to use in Sigil, wich perform a smooth grey text? E-ink is not an iMac screen, so I tried to make it look good. what to do? |

And was it definitely a number starting with # in every case?
Code:
<p>NORMAL</p> <p style="color: #999">TEST #999</p> <p style="color: #666">TEST #666</p> <p style="color: #ccc">TEST #ccc</p> |

Of course.
BTW: #ccc = #cccccc https://www.w3schools.com/colors/colors_shades.asp You can use any color. Simply put: a) they will be more or less legible b) on black-and-white E Ink screens, they will appear in shades of gray, and on color screens, they will be colorful |
