Parsing errors

The html code of my epub file passed Calibre's bug check, but Ingram Spark is saying it has Parsing errors. I can't figure out how to fix them. Can anyone please help? These are the parsing errors, do you need to see the html?
(RSC-005): /content.opf: Error while parsing file: element "guide" incomplete; missing required element "reference"
(RSC-005): /Green_Transport.html: Error while parsing file: element "span" not allowed here; expected the element end-tag or element "address", "blockquote", "del", "div", "dl", "h1", "h2", "h3", "...
(RSC-005): /Uses_for_a_bucket.html: Error while parsing file: element "brclass__calibre8_" not allowed anywhere; expected the element end-tag, text or element "a", "abbr", "acronym", "applet", "b",...
Thanks

You need to install epubcheck. You ePub should pass both calibre's error checker and epubcheck.

For the first error, you probably have an empty guide (<guide></guide>) in our OPF file. If it is an EPUB3, you can just remove it. Or you can use calibre Editor to fix it for you: Tools > Set semantics > Type of semantics: choose 'Cover' > Click in your cover file at the list > Ok.

As for the other errors, you need to post the HTML code. You can even post the EPUB file: just run the ScrambleEbook plugin on it, before sending.
