Hola, me pasa lo siguiente me bajo libros con el kindle Legacy v.2.9.1, y lo quiero leer en calibre, pero me dice que esta protegido los libros, yo antes los bajaba y los convertía a pdf y los imprimía si me gustaba, ahora que yo sepa no hay manera, por favor si sabéis como, me lo podéis compartir, mi kindle es de pc, no tengo físico.

Hi there. Here’s the issue I’m having: I download books using Kindle Legacy v.2.9.1 and want to read them in Calibre, but it tells me the books are protected. I used to download them, convert them to PDF, and print them out if I liked them, but now—as far as I know—there’s no way to do that. If anyone knows how, could you please share the method? I’m using the PC version of Kindle; I don’t have a physical device.

You can remove the DRM using Kindle 2.9.1. But eventually, that will stop and you'll need the Windows Store version of Kindle and Windows 11.

Go here to get what you need to remove Kindle DRM while K4PC 2.9.1 still works. We are not allowed to give you explicit direction on how to remove the DRM here. But you can ask at the link I gave you.

Gracias por responder, yo tengo windows 11, y no me funciona el archivo MSIX...exe, nada mas darle me pega un pantallazo y se va, no se si será el directorio donde esta los libros que no lo coge o no tengo ni idea.

With the Windows 11 version of the Microsoft Store version of Kindle, you do not need to know where the eBooks are located. You go to the Windows Store to find and download Kindle.

The link I gave you previously also has the software needed for the Windows Store version of Kindle and calibre.

You should reboot into safe mode with networking and then try to install the Windows Store Kindle. Do it from the Windows Store app. Where the books are located in K4PC 2.9.1 has nothing to do with the Windows Store version.
