BookFusion for Android: Major TTS, Bookshelf and Reader Improvements

We have released a substantial series of Android updates covering versions 2.20.18 through 2.23.10. These releases introduce major improvements to listening, library performance, e-ink reading and overall app reliability.

Highlights include:
  • Realistic Text-to-Speech voices for eBooks and articles, with unlimited streaming for Advanced and Power readers across Android, Web and iOS.
  • Fully offline realistic voices through the BookFusion Voice companion app, available to readers on every plan.
  • TTS support for PDFs, improved sentence and paragraph detection, smoother page transitions and better playback navigation.
  • A completely rebuilt bookshelf, delivering faster loading, smoother scrolling, relevance-based search and filters for Books and Articles.
  • Numerous improvements for Onyx Boox, Supernote and other e-ink devices.
  • More accurate reading-time tracking across regular reading, TTS and Media Overlays.
  • Extensive fixes covering highlights, notes, bookmarks, downloads, uploads, AutoRead, voice playback, storage, Samsung and Pixel devices, and general app stability.

Coming next

We are also working on full Articles support, native CBZ and CBR reading, a sleep timer, page-number support, EPUB area highlights, custom headers and footers, and additional improvements requested by readers.
