Copying tags to different library

How do I export tags from one library to another library providing books in both libraries are same titles? The reason I want to export tags is because I made AZW list that was conversed from ePUB library. But I set tags only in AZW library and want to export back to ePUB library.

Thanks! THartmann9374

Tags (the table) is linked to Books (the table) in a linkage table.
Tags has an index that is per library
Books has an index (ID) that is per Library
the link links book ID to Tag index
nothing guarantees the indexes match <<<< between Libraries
I suspect the best way is to Merge Libraries with the one that has tags, being the target.

BACK UP BOTH FIRST

Then select a few un-tagged books: Copy to Library: <tagged library>
That merges the formats into a single book record

For this to work reliably the TITLE and AUTHOR both need to be exactly the same

I moved this from the Editor subforum (which is about the Book Editor (i.e. the XHTML code etc) to the Library Management subforum.

@THartmann9374 - why do you have different libraries for different formats - calibre has always catered for multiple formats of the same book… e.g. EPUB, AZW3, DOCX and TXT… albeit only one of each format.
