Reasonable to Run on Personal Desktop Computer?

I guess the first question I should ask is if it's a reasonable thing to run the Calibre Content Server on my personal, standard (linux) desktop computer. The computer spends a good chunk of its time asleep with at least daily reboots. We'd be accessing the server across our local network (not across the internet).

Reasonable or silly?

CCS Runs fine on Linux Mint. You will need to not sleep the computer during business hours :-)
Many modern computers have power management the slows them down when not needed.
