Mobi for kindle?
I downloaded a collection of horror stories by M.P. Shiel from this site having selected Kindle. The file type was mobi, but when I downloaded it I couldn't send it to Amazon like I normally do.
What gives?

amazon doesn't support amazon formats for send to kindle. You either have to copy over USB or convert to EPUB before sending.

That's insane. Kindle are made by Amazon but Amazon won't let you send to kindle. Stupid.

I downloaded a converter, got it to work, its now an epub. Went to Send to kindle and the service is temporarily unavailable. Typical
