Marking Books "Do Not Send" to Device

I've seen something as an aside in a post here about being able to mark individual books so that they don't appear in the list of books TO Send to Device OR as already Sent to Device. Searched, didn't find the reference. Probably hiding in plain view...

I've got about 350 books, many of which I don't need or want on my Kindles, and I'd prefer to be able to toggle the view of my books to EXCLUDE unwanted items but to show ALL books or all SENT or all UNSENT books when those views might be needed. There's got to be a way to do this.

Suggestions, please? Many thanks.

Perfect use of a VL. Just make the VL filter to exclude the unwanted selections.

Thanks. I assume VL = View List, and that if I TAG or otherwise identify books to allow either INCLUSION or EXCLUSION from my search, that should do the trick. And, saving the searches using those criteria will allow quick edits to either list, so as to move books TO/FROM either included or excluded from the current view.
