Tailscale on kobo

I am hoping someone experienced in kobo internals can help with this.

I installed tailscale using this repo as a starting point
https://github.com/videah/kobo-tailscale

It works well and means that I can access calibre content server without auth, from anywhere (i.e. hotel wifi) without exposing calibre to the internet.

I found that moving between nickel and KOReader would cause SD card corruption every time, and I think it's because the way I've installed tailscale keeps it running/logging/accessing the SD card between transitions.

Can anyone please take a look at some changes I've made to the install script to install Tailsacle instead to the rootfs and not the sd card, and package it (with the help of GenAI) into a KoboRoot.tgz?

Does anything stand out as problematic or likely to brick the device? Intended device is Libra Color.

File formats changed to be compatible with forum file upload limits.
