CBZ to PDF convert : bad margin

Hello,
I used to convert CBZ to PDF with Calibre from years, but since some times, the margin in the PDF converted file are not well rendered. In addition, the result is not the same for each page : some have no margin, some have right margin only ...
I have checked that the images integrated into the CBZ file are well centered with good margin.
I tried also to modify some parameters (output file and common options) without any change in the margin result.
Is there something special to use as parameters?
Let me know
Regards
Pat

Hi Kovid,
Thanks for taking care.
I've tried to place the files in the attachment windows, but the size is 117ko for the CBZ and 41ko for the PDF one.
Is there another way to transmit the 2 files for you?
Regards
Pat

You will also have to use a supported file type. I.e., rename the .CBZ file to .CBZ.ZIP before attaching it. The PDF file is okay as is.

Hi Kovid,
In a first step, here are the different sceenshots for parameters used for the last try. You will also find the concersion log related to it. I have also add a conversionlog madde after having set all parameters to default in order to compare.
Let me know

Open a bug report and attach them there launchpad can handle 100MB attachments IIRC. Just be careful to give the file a simple name with only english characters and no spaces. Or alternately simply delete most of the pages from the CBZ using any zip file tool and attach a minimal reproducer here.

Just made your second proposal by reducing the size of the CBZ file.

Ah you mean margins are not being respected? IIRC that's by design. When you convert an image collection like a comic, the images are rendered full page. As far as I recall that has always been the case.

I can't see margin rendering problem... If you increase the value from 72pt to, say, 272pt, in PDF output, you'll get more sensible margins.
