Calibre won't start on Mac

I haven't opened Calibre for about a week and now it seems to not be able to open up on my mac. I attached the most recent error report that was produced from the force quit. This is happening with version 9.8 and 9.7. My first attempt was just rolling back to the previous version, but that didn't work.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

That's not a crash according to that calibre is running but unresponsive. Are you seeing any calibre UI on screen? And run with calibre-debug -g in Terminal.app and see if any useful debug info is printed.

Figured out that it was due to a network filter, nothing to do with the application.
