When I tap three dots in top right corner to bring up list to access calibre, it often catches the select at top of list and assumes I want to select, so I have to press done before I can move on to bringing up the whole list and adding books.

Hello Zebedi... thank you for the response. Is it possible, you are 'double tapping' the icon? Also, do you see this behavior on every page (as there is '...' on every page)?

This is from the main library page, only one page, and usually happens when I want to finish reading in more books before letting it sync. If I let it continue I then have to sync again.

Also, the books in my collections keep disappearing. I have re entered them several times but they don’t stay. One iPad the have all gone back to 0 and the other one there a 1 or 2 in about 4 collections. This is out of several thousand.

Hi Zebedi, so I want to make that clear as you added more info, that made it more confusing for me.

1. Only in Library, when you press '...', sometimes it also automatically 'press' the first option below it, which is 'Select', correct?

2. Do not understand that 'If I let it continue I then have to sync again.'... what continue do you mean here? What you 'let continue'?

3. Books not staying in the collection.
Just to be clear:
- you create a collection 'A' in Library
- you add books to this collection 'A' on one device
- then you open justRead on second device and you should see syncing button showing blue syncing data
- you open this Collection 'A' on second device and there is a different number of books in here?

As to the collections, yes I add on one iPad and sometimes the other one shows the same number but not always, out of 30 collections, last night 3 of them had over 2,000 books and 6 others had varying numbers. Now the same ipad only shows the books I read in last night- about 6 in different collections.

The other one is also now only showing books added last night.

Regarding the select, yes when I press the dots, I sometimes get radio buttons on all the books, and if I press done I can go back to the dots and choose calibre.

You are telling me you added manually 2000 books into 3 collections?

Also 'Now the same ipad only shows the books I read in last night- about 6 in different collections' I am totally lost here :-)

Maybe, as I also have two devices, can you give me step by step instructions what you exactly do, and what problems you end up? I will make the same at my side, end up in the same problem and understand it properly and fix it.

Because for me now, what books I add to any collection on one device is synced to another and vice versa. What is deleted from collection, is synced to another device, etc.
Surely that has to be a problem here, I have just problems understanding it properly.

About those collections... is it possible you created collection 'A' on first device, open second device and created the same collection named 'A' in here?
Because this is not needed: when you create a collection on one device, it will be synced to another, even empty, just the name.
But when you create both with the same name on multiple devices, yes, that can create problems while syncing. Can it be this?

Yes I have named the collections the same on both devices, will start from scratch on one and see what happens to the other one, ��

Hi Zebedi, ok, that is the problem, but nice to hear about it, I will add merging the collections while syncing, if justRead finds out the same collection (meaning same name). So for now please do not create the same collection names on both devices separately, but just on one device, and for future, the merging will be here.
