Manage data files disabled in newer versions?
Hi

While browsing through calibre tutorials, I've seen that in older versions there was an option to manage data files. It was used for auxiliary files. An extra folder named data was made in the folder containing the original files.

I'm currently using the 9.7.0 version. I've searched under metadata and add books but it isn't filed under that.

Does anyone now where to find it?

Open edit-metadata the data button will be in the lower left corner.

Or right click on book then right click on edit metadata.

Hi

I've let Calibre update. After the update it shows the option.
It is strange that it was available in the older versions but not the one I was using.
Anyways I found it. Thank you for the help.

It (the button) is on the Metadata Editor screen, bottom Left
