In-app User Guide — tap About → User Guide for a searchable reference covering search & filtering, connecting Google Drive / Dropbox / WebDAV / Calibre Server, Gutenberg browsing, single and bulk downloads, and library management. No internet required.
Fixed

Search + filter now combine correctly — tapping a tag, author, language, or series chip and then typing in the search bar now narrows within that filter. Previously the chip was silently ignored when any text was present in the search bar.
Large Calibre libraries load reliably — metadata requests are now split into batches of 100 books, fixing a server URL-length error that caused sync to fail on libraries with many books.

Library icon in the top-left is slightly larger and better proportioned against the library name.

Sorry for the delay Apple users. I just found out my builds are backlogged getting approved by Apple. I'm not sure what is taking so long.

No it does not fix the issue. I open the app, the library updates, I can see how many books there are. The progress circle spins for a bit as if it is working on loading the books and then I get the exact same error as before.

I tried with a second library with just 3 items in it and exact same thing.

Are you running the latest version of Calibre? Have you tried signing out from the settings page on the bottom? Signing in again? Please send me more logs.

My previous test was running v1.4.2. Per you recommendation, I signed out from settings and signed back in. I've tried resyncing from settings as well. I have shut down and restarted calibre (and the content server). I am attaching the latest debug report, but I am still getting the exact same error screen I shared in a previous post.

I don't know if it matters but I'm running your app on my Samsung S26 Ultra (12GB/512GB - Android16/OneUI8.5).

I might have found it. On your sort by menu, and pick "Title A–Z" or anything other than Language. Error should disappear immediately.
Please let me know if that fixes it and I can correct the underlying cause.

Same error happens with recently added selected. In fact it seems to happen on a ny sort option i select.

It's not in the app store yet. I just found out this weekend that Apple had not approved the newer builds. So this is for an older one. I'm hoping they will approve the latest build in the next few days.

Peter, please send me a log and tell me what device and the type of librabry you are connecting to (webDAV, dropbox, Calibre content srver, etc). Screen shots are helpful as well!

I don't know if this matters a lot or at all, but I do believe the name of the subforum is wrong.

It reads "Calibre LibraLink" and it should be "Calibre LibriLink".

Unless there's something I don't know about, of course.

Using a library on Google Drive display of library works correctly with any sort setting.

Using the same library on Calibre Content Server fails in either Author or Title sort settings.
