Hi all,
I wanted to share a tool I built to scratch my own itch — I read a lot on KOReader and always wanted a nicer way to revisit my highlights. So I built Luminaria — a free, private web app for browsing your KOReader highlights. Getting started Export your highlights from KOReader (Search icon → Export all highlights) and drop the .md file into Luminaria. Your highlights load instantly, organised by book in a sidebar with full-text search, favourites, and a rotating quote from your library. KOReader plugin There's also a plugin that syncs your highlights directly to Luminaria without needing to connect to the computer. A free token from luminaria.uk/signup gives you manual sync from the plugin menu. The plugin is on GitHub — instructions are in the README. A paid plan (£2.99/month) adds automatic sync whenever your device connects to WiFi, along with PDF export and Notion export. Also supports
Everything stays in your browser — no account needed for the core features, nothing sent to any server. Would love feedback from this community, especially if parsing breaks on your file or the plugin behaves unexpectedly — I'm actively developing it and everyone's setup is a bit different. luminaria.uk |
