Developers talking

I have spent the last two years working on my own epub reader app using C# and dotnet maui. I can say your app is 100x what mine is currently. I have many of the same features but very poorly implemented compared to what I have seen in video's of your app. Yours looks like a polished piece of artwork. Mine is very obviously not anywhere near the same look and feel and has less capabilities. I will continue to work on mine and strive to match the quality you have. Maybe one day I will be able to compare mine to yours and I will be happy if I can match even just a nice looking UI.

Hello ne0rmatrix, sorry for this late response. When I was deciding, now about 8 months back, what languages to use, I almost convinced myself to go crossplatform with flutter or something (because I wanted ios plus android). But then, luckily as I see it now, decided to go fully native and for the reasons I see hints in your comment. I used c# for years, java for years (now go for years), but even with all this decided to go for something new for me, meaning swift. And it was worth it.
Thank you very much for the comment, a response from developer, and a positive one, is something that warms my heart :-).

Just out of curiosity, why did you choose C# and maui?
That seems like a 'hard path' to develop mobile applications for me.
Or to say it otherwise: it has to be 100x harder than using swift, or kotlin, for example.
