Problem converting to Linux.
Hi all.
I have been using Calibre on Windows for quite a while but I am trying to switch to Linux (Mint). I was under impression that I simply can point my Calibre Mint to the existing Callibre library and it should work. However I encountered a problem that I was fighting for many days now and still now success. When I point my Calibre Mint installation to the existing library it comes back with the message that the database is corrupted and following errors: raceback (most recent call last): File "calibre/gui2/ui.py", line 970, in library_moved File "calibre/db/legacy.py", line 191, in __init__ File "calibre/db/legacy.py", line 45, in create_backend File "calibre/db/backend.py", line 540, in __init__ File "calibre/db/backend.py", line 1201, in execute File "src/cursor.c", line 202, in resetcursor apsw.ReadOnlyError: attempt to write a readonly database Attempts to fix the errors fail. The database is located on the NAS (QNAP TVS-1282T3), size 640GB. Filesystem is EXT4 I also moved it to the external drive formatted as NTFS but it did not help. I don't know what else I can do so any advice is welcome. |
