Mac keyboard shortcut to move file to end of list

What's the editor keyboard shortcut on a MacBook to move a file to the end of the list? I can drag to the end, but would rather use the keyboard. I can do this in the windows version, but MacBooks don't have an End key.

I assume this is in the 'file browser' pane. (or the TOC editor) .
I never found the Windows way

, now I am using Linux and am getting used to the Default (choice) button 'Not selected'
A Move ITEM to list Bottom or Top would be really handy for books with over 20 entries in those lists

Right click (tap trackpad with two fingers) gets the Export, Replace, etc. menu, but how do you get the Move flyout?

FWIW, from the manual "You can re-arrange the order in which text (HTML) files are opened when reading the book by simply dragging and dropping them in the File browser or clicking on the file to move and then pressing the Ctrl+Shift modifiers with the Up, Down, Home or End keys. For the technically inclined, this is called re-ordering the book spine."

Thanks. Somehow I missed the ctrl-shift actions

It was a suggestion, look at the screenshot. It would require a change to the code.

Once a context menu is popped it can be used with one finger - which makes it accessible to everyone. On some platforms it can be popped with one finger.

I admit to not having read the Editor manual closely.

A context menu alternative could make the shortcuts discoverable by showing them - maybe they could be configurable.

Oh.

If I understand correctly, on a MacBook, which doesn't have an End key, you can't move a file. to the end with one command. You can use cmd-shift-up/down arrow to move a file up or down, it just takes a bit more effort.

When you use macs you have to accept all sorts of limitations that apple will impose on you because they believe they know better. In this case they dont have any standard shortcut for home and end, the clsest you will find is ctrl+left/ctrl+right which makes no sense to move things up and down

The End in a MacBook used to be Fn + Right arrow.

Note that the Mac knows best crew uses ctrl-left/right to switch between Mission Control windows. That can be changed. See Settings > Keyboard > Keyboard shortcuts > Mission Control >
