Tolino Epos 3 (FW 16.2.0) – downgrade or KOReader install possible?

Hi,

I have a Tolino Epos 3 running firmware 16.2.0.

I want to install KOReader, but:

debug menu does not work
ADB is not accessible
fastboot cannot be entered

I already tried:

devmodeon / debug codes
ADB connection (no device detected)
fastboot key combinations (device always boots normally)

Is there ANY working method to:

downgrade firmware to 15.x (update.zip?)
enable ADB or install APKs
or any known workaround for Epos 3 on 16.2.0?

I would really appreciate any working files or confirmed methods.

Did you try the code shown in the screenshot in this post? I think that was the one for that firmware version, but I'm not sure.

As cellaris has already pointed out, the debug code for FW 16.x devices is:
