Home indicator not auto-hiding in justRead.app: anyone else?
A user reported that the system home indicator (the small bar at the very bottom of the screen) isn't disappearing automatically after a few seconds in justRead.app. Normally it fades out on its own. Has anyone else seen this behavior?

He still sees this home indicator (that bar):

It happens to me on both my ipad mini and my ipad 11" I'm on OS 18. Maybe 26 is different?

Yes, however it does so on all my apps (even Apple's own apps such as Notes) - maybe an OS 18 thing? Or I have a setting somewhere on the Ipad that I don't know about.

I’m on iOS 18 as well, but it does disappear on some apps like kybook3.

I found out it automatically hides on ios26 and on older ios version it has to be manually hidden using .persistentSystemOverlays(.hidden).
Will add it to 1.4 version.

I had "Tap to Wake" turned on. After turning it off, the line goes away!

Correction, it goes away on the ipad mini, but not the 11".

I know what that is. That is the bar at the bottom of the screen on iOS when you are trying to either minimize the app or close it. Normally, that bat is not there.
