Displaying Row Color Based on the Maximum Number of Values in a Column
Dear Community,
Please excuse me if this question has already been answered. I searched but couldn't find anything. In any case, thank you for your help. Is it possible to change the row color of books when the following conditions are met: In the column with fixed values and the name "#m_status", there should be at most X entries with the value "!Lesen" ("!Read"). If the number is greater than value X, these books should be colored xyz (e.g., red). Would it perhaps even be possible, in the case mentioned, to only display books of the category "!Lesen" ("!Read") in the catalog? (Translated from German using Google Translate) |

Try adding this rule in Preferences/Look & Feel column coloring. Here's an image of the result.

Thanks for the help.
I didn't explain myself very well. I'll try again to be clearer: 1. Query the column "#m_status" 2. Count the values in this column with the entry "!Lesen". (The entry "!Lesen" is the second in a list of 17 predefined values. The first value is an empty entry.) 3. If this count is greater than 5, then display all of these books (entire rows) of these X books (x rows) in the font color "Purple". I hope it's clearer now. |

I don't believe calibre has the ability to perform actions across multiple rows; ie counting how many rows have a given value.
It's possible that one of DaltonST's plugins might help but I'll caution you, DaltonST has been inactive for several years now. |
