Looking for Reacher series books as ePub

I usually buy my ePub books on ebooks.com or kobo.

I have an old Sony Reader and a Pocketbook Era Color, and I live in Europe (Norway).

After watching the Reacher TV series I figured I wanted to read the books, but buying them as ebooks have turned out to be hard.

Of my usual suppliers kobo turned out not to have them.

And while ebooks.com listed all Reacher books, most of them were listed as unavailable (a book collection of Reacher 1-6 was available, and I bought it. Reacher book 1 "Killing Floor" was also available).

I am now nearing the completion of Reacher 6, so I am trying to find the rest of them.

The publisher have this link for Reacher book 7, with links to bookstores selling it:
https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/b...-by-lee-child/

Of the ones linked to:
  • amazon won't work, since I don't have a kindle
  • apple books won't work, since I don't have an iThing (and won't read books on non-eInk devices)
  • Barnes & Noble won't work, since I don't have a Nook and B&N don't have a download ePub option
  • Books a Million won't work, since it says "This item is only available to U.S. billing addresses."
  • Google play won't work, since the link comes up empty (not sure if this will work with my Sony Reader device anyway, even if it runs a version of android...?)
  • Kobo won't work, since the link comes up empty

And, as said earlier, ebooks.com (not on the publisher's page) lists the book, but shows it as unavailable.

Anyone knows of an epub supplier for these books that works in Europe?
Anyone knows why these books show up as unavaillable?
Is it caused by the Amazon Prime TV series and amazon demanding exclusive rights for ebooks for kindle?

Thanks!

Forget Open Library. The quality from the books they have is terrible. Plus, they use LCP DCM which is not compatible with Sony.

@steinarb...
  • Go to Kobo.com and log in
  • Select the country as the UK (cheaper then the US)
  • Under My Account, change the billing address to United Kingdom
  • If you have a PayPal account, select that as the Billing Method and if not, use a credit card
  • Search for the books you want and purchase
  • Once the purchases are made, go to My Books and click on the ... Under each cover and select download
  • You will get an ACSM to use to download the ePub

One oddity on Kobo is that many of the Jack Reacher ebooks on Kobo do not have the series index showing on the page. For instance, Kobo shows Persuader (https://www.kobo.com/ca/en/ebook/persuader as being available but does mention it as being book 7 in the series.

I ended up using the https://www.jackreacher.com/us/books/ which I take as being authoritative for the series order.

I prefer the list at Fantastic Fiction as it shows the order of the short stories.

The books are available on Google Play and on Kobo. Just search directly on the sites, not via the Penguin link. That's probably for US editions and not available in Europe.

With Google Play, you can download a DRMed epub just like with Kobo.

No need to switch countries, as UK editions are usually available in other European countries.

They are not available in Norway at Kobo. I looked before I posted the directions.

Sure, if you are happy with publishing order.

But if you want story order this is what I came up with, including short stories. Up until book 25 or so, there were clues. Sometimes big slap in your face clues like "continues directly after the events of book xxx" or it will be something subtle like a mention about a previous event, or a date, or even some event occurring in the city/town he is visiting. I've ignored the books that his brother wrote.

The Reacher books don't show up at all for me on kobo, unfortunately.

Maybe Reacher not showing up, has something to do with the country I'm in (Norway)?

Thanks, but Killing Floor I've already got. It was possible to buy from ebooks.com on its own and as part of the collection of the first six books.

Right now I am looking for book 7 Persuader.
