Error: All text in eBook viewer is glyphs
After working fine for many years, the Calibre ebook viewer has started displaying all text in ebooks as glyphs. This problem does not occur in the main application. Any ideas for how to fix this? I am using MacOS 15.7.4 and Calibre 9.2.1. I cannot find this problem online.

I suppose the first place to start is to check the font being used by the Viewer.
Go to Settings>Preferences>Fonts and adjust the fonts in use.

There is a good chance that you have a corrupted font. I think you can use Fontbook to locate it. This has also been reported when a duplicate font has been installed. You can check this by turning off local fonts.
