Delete the folder structure in epub

Hi,

i've merged several epubs into one file and now i have 5 subfolders with a main.css and images in each folder. Is it possible to remove the subfolders and save all images and xhtml with one main.css in the root directory? Off course the names of the files and images must be adjusted.

In book browser i see a folder "text" with all my xhtml files. The name has names like "0/main.xhtml" and "2/main-4.xhtml". when i drag&drop a file to the text folder the file now is at the end of the list but still in the subfolder. the name is furthermore "0/main.xhtml".

Before you change any of the DIRECTORY structure, you need to make sure no filename is duplicated.

And drag and drop only impacts the order of the spine not location. Remember the BookBrowser shows files organized by file type (ie a virtual folder) not an actual folder. You can use the right button pop up menu to Move where a file is actually stored inside the epub.

It helps to use Sigil preferences to set it to show the full book path of each file.

If all fie names are unique, the easiest soluation may be to use the Tools->Restructure To Sigil Norm menu to have it move everything into a nice normalized structure in one go. It will automatically update the links to match.

To clean up old folders, simply use Save As to save the epub and then load it. All unused folders should all be removed.
