Amazon identifier Duplicate

Since 9.3, the Amazon_fr identifier in book details appears twice. However, there is only one Amazon_fr reference in the metadata window for that book.
I suppose it is related to the new amazon multicountries metadata source, which I unchecked, with no effect.
How can I get rid of this duplicate ?

There is no new multi countries amazon metadata source. if you mean a third party plugin try disabling it in preferences->plugins.

Yes, it's my fault. A third-party plug-in called “Amazon multicountries metadata” was causing all this trouble. The identifiers are working fine now.

I think I installed it (and forgot about it) because I have trouble getting Amazon metadata for French books; most of the time, I only get ISBN and Google data, whether I choose “Amazon servers” or “Find server automatically” in the Amazon source properties.

yes amazon has been more aggressive about blocking scraping off late so it often fails.

I've tried getting metadata from Amazon and it fails. I don't download metadata other then the cover because there are so many errors, that I have to manually check the metadata and then manually fix it. So I may as well get the metadata that I need manually. The bits of metadata mostly get is the series name and the description. The rest is usually correct in the eBook's metadata.
