Kindle App on Android

So looking via google searching, this seems like it may be an app issue -- I am trying out the AiPaper product and when using the Kindle app from the google play store, I can't get any chapter related information to show in the progress area and the option is greyed out in settings. This is an ePub sent to the library via send to kindle, and it works properly on my actual kindles, and my iPhone using the kindle app. It's here on Android (16) where it's failing me.

Known issue? Is there anyway to fix it? It's kind of a killer feature for me, as I like to look ahead to see if I have time to finish this chapter or not before I go to work, etc.

I have the same problem. Though I am using android 12. Just to confirm your kindle for android is using latest version. Supposed support said problem was fixed a while ago starting android for kindle version 8.100. But it still is grayed out. The only way I got time in chapter left was to convert epub to azw3 and copy to my phone via Bluetooth. Create a folder . Put book in it and enable make this folder accessible via kindle for android settings. I don't own an iPhone so didn't know chapters worked on it.

Why are you viewing an epub in the Kindle app?

Epub reader apps don't give time left in chapter. Only kindle app does or Kindle e-ink devices

FWIW, you can see time left in chapter by tapping to reveal reading options with the Kindle app on Fire. It's just not available for reading progress option.

Version is 14.141.100 - should be same major/minor version as the Google Play version.
