Pocketbook Era BW battery

I have a black and white Pocketbook Era (PB700). I often hear that the Eras have excellent battery life, but my experience has been the opposite. On all my ereaders, I’m reading with the backlight off, wifi and bluetooth off, and the page-refresh rate set to every 10-12 pages. I use Koreader except for library books.

With those settings, I get nearly 4 weeks out of my jailbroken 2021 Kindle Paperwhite, about 3 weeks out of my Clara BW and maybe 2 weeks out of my Era. I’ve checked the Era’s power settings and made sure that the device is powering down after 20 minutes of inactivity. The drain happens while I am reading on the device.

Has anyone else experienced this with the Era? Any suggestions of what might be causing it?

KOReader may be causing it.

Maybe so. That would be a disappointment, since I really don’t like the stock reader on the Pocketbook.
