How to Organize Kindle Books into Folders When Using Calibre

For those who use Calibre to transfer books to Kindle, may I ask if there is a way to copy books to the device so that they are organized into folders the same way as on the computer?

When I copy them over, I then have to manually add them again into newly created folders, which is very time-consuming.

Does anyone have a solution to share?
Thank you, everyone.

Are you using the Kindle's native interface to access your books or are you using KOReader? You could use the save to device template to generate a directory structure. My example is for a Kobo ereader but might give you an idea of what to use with your Kindle.

Under Save template: on the first page of the device interface plugin, I entered:
Code:
eBooks/{author_sort:sublist(0,1,&)}/{title} - {authors:sublist(0,1,&)}
To break this down, I have a directory called eBooks in the root of the exposed storage. For a Kindle you might want to start with whatever directory your Kindle stores documents in.

This is followed by a directory based the first author in the author sort list (that's what the :sublist(0,1,&) does). The reason for the sublisting is to keep filenames/paths from getting too long.

The file name is based on the book title followed by the first author in the author list.

So, Three Men in a Boat by Jerome K. Jerome would be stored as follows:

eBooks/Jerome, Jerome K_/Three Men in a Boat - Jerome K_ Jerome.epub

Edit: checked and found that I had a configuration for a Kindle interface. The main difference is that it adds the series name/index as part of the file name and the eBooks directory is located in the documents directory.

Code:
documents/eBooks/{author_sort:sublist(0,1,&)}/{series:| |} {series_index:||} - {title} - {authors:sublist(0,1,&)}

If you mean collections, there's no way to automatically create them on a Kindle. Only on Kobos and Pocketbooks.
