Stable page number and hidden flows
I am running KOreader 2025.10 on a rooted PW4, but have also reproduced this with 2025.10 on Linux. I just started playing with stable page numbers and found something that looks wrong.
If I have stable page numbers turned OFF, and set up and enable a custom hidden flow, several things change in the status bar: the progress percentage and the total # of pages change, and the '/' current/total page separator changes to '//'. If I turn ON stable page numbers, and then enable/disable a custom hidden flow, the only status bar field that changes is the progress percentage - the total page count does NOT change to reflect the hidden flow, and the page separator never changes to '//'. Also, with stable page numbers enabled, the page numbers for TOC entries in a hidden flow don't show the hidden flow page number in [ ] the way they do if stable page numbers is off. This isn't supposed to work like this, is it? |

Ok, if that's the way it's supposed to work, but that seems counter-intuitive to me. Stable page numbers can be set up to apply "globally", to all books that haven't already been opened with non-stable pages.
By its nature, a custom flow is specific to a single book, and I would expect that to override the page type for that book. I also don't understand why it changes only the percent progress and not the total pages in the book. With the status bar like this, current page/total pages is not equal to the displayed percentage.
