Chinese word selection cannot exclude trailing punctuation
My Kindle 2022 accidentally updated to the latest 5.18.6.
Now for chinese books via Amazon "send to kindle" feature (e.g., convert epub to kfx online), there is no way to exclude the trailing punctuations when selecting a word. This makes the Wikipedia fail to find the word, since there is a trailing punctuation. My workaround is to convert epub to azw3 with Calibre, and copy to kindle. Does anyone know the root cause for this? |

I'd complain to Amazon support about it.
