pocketbook era clock issues

in short, pocketbook era clock doesnt work without wifi

i noticed that the time stopped updating just recently, and the clock works properly only after turning on wifi and syncing the time and only with the wifi on it shows the actual time

it is with this problem i assume comes another problem of it not shutting of automatically, since its not able to "tell the time has passed"

is there any way to fix this? ive had it for a bit more than a year, and i dont have koreader installed (ive seen some people in previous threads assume koreader causes this problem)
would really appreciate any help! thanks!

Hi,
usually it means faulty mainboard. It's hardware problem.

This is a hardware problem that has nothing to do with koreader and it’s very common with all the pocketbook models, old and new. If your device is still under warranty you should contact Pocketbook’s customer support and they will replace it.

My verse pro has this problem as well, and so did my old pocketbook that I bought in 2015.
