Library import, corrupted files, what are the options?

I'm trying to import a library from a backup I did earlier via Calibre's export function. It's a little over 5 GB of data spread into 6 .calibre-data files.

Somewhere around the 25% mark I get an error:

Code:
calibre, version 8.16.2
ERROR: Failed: Failed to import data. Click "Show details" for more information.

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "calibre/gui2/dialogs/exim.py", line 156, in run_action
  File "calibre/utils/exim.py", line 478, in import_data
  File "calibre/db/cache.py", line 3627, in import_library
ValueError: Corrupted files:
EPUB format for <book title>
where <book title> is one of the books from my library. I could live without that book, but the import won't proceed any further.

What options do I have? I can't see anything on this in Calibre's documentation.

None that I know of.

The design intent of Export/Import was to facilitate transfer of calibre libraries and settings to a 'new' computer ==>> How do I move my calibre data from one computer to another?. If anything went wrong the user would presumably still have their 'old' computer, so they could do the transfers manually as explained in that FAQ.

But don't delete anything, someone may have a solution.

If you have one corrupted file its highly likely you have many more. I can change the code to finish importing all books in a library before reporting corrupted files, that might help you a bit.
